The goal of the NeuroJet project is a technology suitable for studying the biological basis of cognition. The software under development will help the neuroscientist to produce quantitative predictions at a variety of levels; from the firing patterns of individual neurons to the cognition and behavior of individual organisms.


The initial priorities of the project include :

  1. proof of concept

  2. training new users

    1. introduction to simulations

    2. tutorials for the NeuroJet scripting language

    3. parallel processor applications

  3. development of Matlab programs to mirror the C++ code and cognitive functionality

  4. verification and vaidation

  5. a mechanism for the exchanging information, results, data processing scripts, and NeuroJet language scripts

  6. identification of the most recalcitrant technical barriers
